About Us
Contrary to popular belief, this blog was not created to be about the Protestant Reformation–although Reformation Nation agrees with, holds to, and affirms the Five Solas of the Reformation.
This blog is actually dedicated to the advancement of a much-needed reformation in Western Christianity. A reformation from the lukewarm, seeker-friendly, mile-wide, inch-deep, entertainment-driven, purpose-driven lies that–like leaven–has found itself spreading through the Church like a cancer.
This blog is an oasis for the modern Pilgrim who is tired of nominal Christianity and who hungers and thirsts for more. You are in good fellowship here at Reformation Nation: cultural Christianity (aka Churchianity) is not welcome.
This blog also exists to expose deception, defend the truth, and contend for the Faith from the errors, heresies, and various winds of doctrine so prevalent in the Church today.
Finally, Reformation Nation endeavors to point its readers to enter through the narrow gate and encourages all fellow Pilgrims to remain on the narrow path, because many are called but few are chosen, and not everyone who says to Him, “Lord, Lord” will enter into Heaven.
“The only thing that’s going to save the Church in America; there’s only two possibilities. One is a total reformation in our preaching, in our study of the word of God. Or the other is fierce horrifying persecution, that’s the only thing that’s going to save the Church in America.”
- Paul Washer
Praying for the former, preparing for the latter.

Great blog! I was viewing the link to the three videos from some apostate church, one was “Jesus shopping”. That made me cry. Cry because the “professing” church is even mocking the Saviour. I am thankful for the blogs that are stating true to the word of God and keeping the sheep informed.

I see that you have the RSS feeds for comments available for each thread, but do you have an RSS feed for all comments?
I really enjoy your site.

I am not familiar with all that RSS feed stuff. Is it something that I should have/do?

Chances are that you already have the capability to do it, since this is a wordpress blog.
If you want to send me a personal email, I can (hopefully) walk you through it.

I have just come across this site. Praise God for sites such as these!
I’m a Christian woman from Australia who’s eyes have recently been opened by our God to seeing such Apostasy in the churches in my area, my country and beyond. This offends me and has saddened me deeply.
I have however been greatly blessed and grown in my relationship with my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, through the guidance and teaching by His Holy Spirit, as I continue to seek truth and clarity in His Word.
Unfortunately there are many of my Christian brothers and sisters whom I love deeply, that see very little wrong with many of these teachers, teachings and false gospels which are being presented and so easily swallowed. They neither question, research, nor test against God’s infallible and Holy Word what’s being taught. Please pray for the believers and churches here in Australia too, as we are not immune to these issues you face either.
I am encouraged however that there ARE Christian brothers and Sisters in Christ like yourselves as well, taking a stand for the gospel, that there are Godly men preaching Christ and believers proclaiming His Word. I pray the Lord will continue to bless and grow each of you too in your relationship with Him, as you seek His guidance through His Word and Prayer.
What a privilege it is to serve our Almighty God….to Him to be the Glory!
“Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the gospel according to the power of God, who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began, but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel, to which I was appointed a preacher, an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles. For this reason I also suffer these things; nevertheless I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day.” - 2 Timothy 1:8-12
“My flesh and my heart fail;
But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” - Psalm 73:26

As a young believer (in age as well as years with the Lord) thank you for this site, it has encouraged me in knowing that I am not as alone as I feel, and believe me, I often feel alone. I’m tired of people giving me brownies, when I need a hamburger
Something that pulled at my heart as I read more about you- I urge you though, in your refrence to the “church” to specify it as the American church. I was convicted of this myself, by a Paul Washer sermon. It is not the church of God that is in wrong, it is most of the American Christians who believe that they are the church, who are infact far from the body of Christ. It’s tough though, because if we are no longer the church, then what can we define our fellowship as, a cult? I guess it comes down to your definition of the word church, and in your “About Us” section I believe you are talking about those who belong (and lead) the American church. To say that the church as a whole has failed is an offence to God, because there are TRUE brothers and sisters dying for our faith who are following the words of Jesus, and who ARE the church. It’s complex to explain, I’m not sure if I make myself clear, but thought I’d give it a stab. I will be coming back to visit, thank you for your work!

We hear ya, garment! As you will find out, I’m a regular visitor here, and I would like to welcome you to the Nation!
Yes, when Pilgrim (and the rest of us) refer to the lukewarmness and apostasy of “the church”, we are indeed talking about American “Christianity.” (I put it in parentheses to differentiate it from truly following Christ.) I would encourage you to commit these verses to memory, and use them in your walk with the Lord:
2nd Corinthians 11:3-4–But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. 4 For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted—you may well put up with it!
Galatians 1:8-9–But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.
1st Timothy 4:13–…give attention to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine…
2 John 1:9-10–Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him…
There will be many who will tell you that “doctrine is not important”, or that “doctrine divides”, and that we should just focus on “unity.” Don’t listen to them. We need to be rooted in solid doctrine, and learn the truth and share it with others in a spirit of love.
Welcome to the Nation!

Great blog! Thanks for all the time and effort you put into your posts.
Do you have or plan to create a list of recommended reading such as your last book review - Holiness by J.C. Ryle.
1, January 16, 2008 at 9:30 am
Thank you for your kind words, Scott.
I actually already have a recommended reading list (sort of). If you look under my Categories (to the right) you will see Reviews. Just click on that and scroll to your desired book recommendation.
I have another book recommendation that I am going to post very soon–possibly this week–(I just finished reading it last night). It was a great book! Keep an eye out for the post.
Sincerely,
- Pilgrim

hey,
I was looking this up because I saw ur videos. I was really touched.
I have been called to be a missionary and I will be going on alot of missions trips for I am heavely involved in my church. The other day I went through persecution. I’m so lucky it wasn’t for real.
My church set up something up in the middle of the night where they took a couple of people in church leadership to an unkown place. They dropped us of with a map and we were left alone. Of course they warned us that we were going to be persecuted .
After our driver left us in the middle of nowhere in the dark, we were met by some men who made us stand up against a fence asking for our id. Of course…We had none on us. Finally, they let us go (after they made us sit in a mud puddle).
Then from there on we were questioned by many other people who persected us and pushed us around. One of the last people that stopped us held a gun to my friends head and asked her if she would die for Jesus. She said, “I would.”Then, They let everyone go ahead except for me. I had not answered there question. They made me lay face down in the mud and yelled at me asking who my leader was. long story short…They let me go and I met up with my friends..who were hiding behing a tree. Then we had to try to find our way there. We didn’t know where to go. I know your thinking look at your map! Well.. My friend ended up giving the persecuters our map. I realized right then if this were in real life we would have already been killed and the persecuters were probably one the way with our map..To our underground church. Sooo after we ran a long time we found the underground church. We found a group of our friends praying. I was glad t ofind no persecuters there. It seemed s osafe for a long time. We were waiting for a couple other people to show up. They showed up and then…All the people who had persecuted us snuck up on us with guns yelling and screaming. They made everyone lay down where they were.( I was lying on piles of wood). One at a time they took each person and pushed them down in the mud on their knees. They would not let us look up. Somehow I always get seperated. I was left with one other girl. This girl and I were pushed down. There I was again face down in the mud and I felt a foot on my back, bright lights in my eyes, and the loudest male voice yelling at me. He was asking me if I was the leader. I held back my speach. Then, he asked everyone if I was the leader. Someone yelled “NO Steven is.” The man took Steven our leader into a shed. All we heard was yelling, a last word, and a gun shot. The crazed man came out with a long steal bar in hand and a gun. He said.. See what we do to Christians. Then all the persecuters left with our flash lights and cell phones. There we were again in the dark. I led in worship and we all prayed as a group. My friend Cam started in telling us what he had learned . I’m really glad that we did this. I learned what it feels like to be persecuted and to defend my faith. Before, I didn’t think I would stand for my faith. I I feel that If I were to be chalenged in my faith and die for christ I would .

Brothers,
Do you know the Everlasting Gospel, the revelation about the Return of Jesus-Christ, the judgment of the World that starts in the Church.
It explains the project of the creation, its meaning, its start and how it ends.
1, Adam & Eve
2. Abraham & Sarah
3. Abraham & Nations
4. Abraham & Sarah & Nations.
The nations born naturally of Adam and Eve have inherited of his sin and corruption that lead to death; they must reborn spiritually in Abraham to receive justice and rifhteousness that lead to eternal life.
At the end of the day, the nations will be separated in good and evil using the criteria set up using the lives of Abraham’s descendants.
1A. Eve/Adam=Cain=Bad Offering
1B. Adam/Eve=Abel=Good Offeing
2A. Sarah/Abraham=Ishmael(Esau)=Traditions
2B. Abraham/Sarah=Isaac(Jacob)=Promise
3A. Nations/Abraham=Israel(Levites)=Law of Moses
3B. Abraham/Nations=Church(Jesus)=Gospel
4A. Nations/Sarah/Abraham= Democratic Constitution/Law
4B.Abraham/Sarah/Nations=Gospel/Law/Democratic constitution.
The As representent the disobedience, man’s interference in God’s plan: the sin that brings corruption. The rebellion to God.
The Bs are the obedience, when man submits to God’s will: the justice that brings holiness. The submission to God.
Today World is made of a mix of Cain’s offspring and God’s children.
The corruption produced by the children of the devil has turned the world upside down,
How to sort the children of God from the children of the devil?
This is the goal of the goal of this revelation.
It will help the true beleivers to apat themselves from the hypocites and the corrupted: the judgment of the world by the Church.
It explains how the rebellion acts, its motivations and its ways of propagation.
It is already here in the USA and it is awaiting God’s signal.

Brothers, be reminded of the parable in Luke 18:9-14.
He spoke this parable to certain people who were convinced of their own righteousness, and who despised all others.
“Two men went up into the temple to pray;
one was a Pharisee, and the other was a tax collector.
The Pharisee stood and prayed to himself like this:
‘God, I thank you, that I am not like the rest of men, extortioners, unrighteous, adulterers, or even like this tax collector.
I fast twice a week. I give tithes of all that I get.’
But the tax collector, standing far away, wouldn’t even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying,
‘God, be merciful to me, a sinner!’
I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted.”
Brothers and sisters, beware upon whom you trust your salvation. Do you trust upon your “good works”, or upon the sacrificial act of Christ on the cross? While I am not sending this reply to condone bad fruits, I send this to remind you that regardless of our good works, we are all worthless without Christ. The Cross should be a humbling point for all of us.
Indeed, true faith produces good works. But good works, do not produce good faith. We are all rags in the sight of God. But thanks to his Son, we are saved -not upon our own merit, but upon the merits of His Son.
