Barack Obama’s pastor Jeremiah Wright.

1, March 16, 2008

racism.jpgJust when you thought this Trinity Church was as apostate as they come, Chris over at A Little Leaven has posted the following 3-minute video of Barack Obama’s pastor from Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, Illinois .

After watching this short video below I had the following questions:

1). Did this guy attend the Fred Phelps school of theology?

2). What chapter and verse is he expositing this racism from? Is he actually preaching out of the Koran?

3). Since the whole message in this video was political, does this mean that TUCC will now have its tax exempt status revoked?

On a side note: Amidst all the weirdness, anger, hate, and shocking words that spewed from Mr. Wright, I noticed three things in this video that may be missed if you’re not looking for them:

1:34 The back of his robe either catches on fire or there are ants crawling up his back. Fortunately two observant men are quick to fix the problem without Mr. Wright missing a beat.
2:22 What’s with the freaky James Brown hot tub dance moves? A little weird for a pastor to do during a “sermon,” or at any time for that matter.
2:38 Get ready, here comes the hypocrisy. After two and a half minutes of bigoted and racist-laden rhetoric, Mr. Wright says that he won’t stoop to their level of “hatred, bigotry, and small mindedness.”

I did some checking into this man and discovered the following myriad of videos.

This news video reveals a whole lot more on Mr. Wright. You may ask yourself after viewing this video, why this man chooses to live in this country.

In the following video advertisement for TUCC, you’ll see Mr. Wright with Barack Obama at 1:46, right after scenes of the dancing costume circus on “stage.”

Jeremiah Wright on Fox. No one will ever accuse Mr. Wright of being quick to listen. I think he forgot who was the host and who was the guest.

And more on the topic.

A blow to homeschooling from the People’s Republic of California.

1, March 15, 2008

homeschool.gif Justice H. Walter Croskey said in the court ruling against homeschooling, “Parents do not have a constitutional right to homeschool their children.I didn’t see anything in the constitution about abortion, but that didn’t seem to be a hindrance.

I knew this was coming. It was inevitable as more and more people have chosen to homeschool their children to avoid the brainwashing “socializing” of their kids by the government’s secular worldview. After all, who has a better interest in your own kids than the government?

The government funded education system has less and less control on the indoctrination of your children so the only logical move for them to make was to make it illegal. Honestly, I was beginning to wonder what was taking them so long.

Vatican: The new 7 Deadly Sins includes pollution!

1, March 10, 2008

vatican.jpg Monsignor Gianfranco Girotti , close ally of the Pope and head of the Roman Curia’s main court–The Apostolic Penitentiary–has released a list of Roman Catholicism’s new 7 Deadly Sins:

- Polluting the environment.

- Taking drugs.

- Becoming obscenely wealthy.

- Causing social injustice.

- Causing poverty.

- Experimenting on humans.

- Genetic modifications.

Read more about these “new sins” here and here and here. For more on the deadly sin of pollution, check out this article.

That’s “Minister” Kathy Griffin to you!

1, March 10, 2008

kathy.jpg Kathy Griffin caused waves last year when she made some rude remarks about our precious Lord and Savior Jesus Christ after she received an award (video).

So what is she up to now? Why, she’s become an ordained minister! That’s right. She received her ordination online from Universal Life Church so she could perform a marriage.

Read the news article here.

This just proves that just because someone is an “ordained minister” does not necessarily mean they’re actually saved and going to Heaven. There are a lot of woolly “sheep” howling at the moon these days and many are “ordained.”

Will the Mormon church be able to stop NASA’s planned assault on the inhabitants of the moon?

1, February 28, 2008

moon-crash.jpg According to this article NASA is set to slam not one, but two satellites into the moon. Since Mormon leaders have taught that the moon is populated (along with the sun), I anticipate that the LDS church will vehemently protest this planned attack on the moon. I expect to see the LDS church publicly confront NASA on their disregard for human life and their insensitivity to the inhabitants of the moon. The LDS church will have to race against the clock, though, as this attack on the moon people is scheduled for February 2009.

If they don’t take a stand here and now, Kolob may be next!

Eight out of ten Americans are professing Christians?

1, January 19, 2008

eight-out-of-ten.jpg Whew, I guess I can shut down this blog now because eight out of ten people identify themselves as Christians according to this Gallup poll. I guess there is no use for Reformation Nation anymore.

And any day now the massive influence of 80% of the population should reflect in our culture . . . any day now . . .any time now . . . still waiting . . .

Two children strangled and stabbed to death in pagan ritual.

1, January 9, 2008

pagan-pentagram.jpg This is an unbelievable story out of Iowa of two young girls (eight-year-old Alysha, and ten-year-old Kendra) who were strangled and stabbed to death by their own stepfather (a self-professed pagan) in an occult ritual that went bad.

Read the articles on this sad story from the Sioux City Journal below:

January 8th article: Two dead in ritual killing

January 9th article: Stepfather practiced spells

January 9th article: Suspect kept to himself

And yet, you’ll still have some professing “Christians” claim that Harry Potter (steeped in pagan and occult practices) is somehow of value to Christianity and evangelism.

Will the prosperity “gospel” float in flooded Fernley, Nevada?

1, January 8, 2008
Do you think that this happened because the residents simply “didn’t have enough faith?” Somehow I believe that these folks aren’t having their “best life now.” It takes times like this to see what a folly the false prosperity “gospel” truly is. fernley-flood.jpg

Here’s more examples of how the prosperity “gospel” is an utter failure outside an affluent industrialized Western country during times of prosperity.

The worst of politics and Mormonism.

1, December 25, 2007

mitt.jpg

Politicians have to lie to win elections. Mormons have to lie to cover up their sordid history. But what happens when you mix the two together?

Apparently presidential candidate Mitt Romney made a comment that he saw his dad marching with Martin Luther King Jr. When this lie was exposed a quick spin was needed and who can spin better than a Mormon? In this short video Mitt Romney gives you his definition of “saw.” It’s rather comical.

Rick Warren’s glowing remarks on Mike Huckabee.

1, December 16, 2007

In one of my previous posts we saw how Baptist Minister turned politician Mike Huckabee capitulated when it came to a serious and important issue (maybe not in the eyes of politics but eternally serious for the millions of those trapped in the maze of Mormonism). Well, now I understand why Huckabee back-peddled from the issue. Apparently Mr. Huckabee is cavorting with ilk like Rick Warren, and we all know how Mr. Warren is when it comes to defending the faith. Check out Warren’s comments found on Huckabee’s website by clicking here.

Another victim of the Jehovah’s Witnesses.This time it’s a 14-year-old boy.

1, December 12, 2007

dead-jw-boy.jpg The young boy in this picture (age 14) is dead. And who is to blame? None other than the Watchtower Bible and Tract Association, also known as the Jehovah’s Witnesses. Read the ABC news article here.

This is one of the reasons why reaching the cults is so vitally important. And yet there will still be people (even professing Christians) who will say that you’re not loving if you challenge false teachers and their false doctrines. They’ll even say such ridiculous and Biblically ignorant things like, Jesus would never challenge their faith.

If you listen carefully when they say these things you can hear the hiss from their forked tongues.

The Mormon “Jesus” is Satan’s brother.

1, December 12, 2007

050617thanks_for_nothing_mishieguilt1.jpg

As stated before, Reformation Nation is not interested in delving into the political realm unless the topic is of value to the readers of this blog. This happens to be one of those occasions.

Ordained Southern Baptist minister turned politician (that’s where it all goes wrong) and current presidential candidate Mike Huckabee asked a very good question of Mitt Romney’s faith: “Don’t Mormons believe that Jesus and the devil are brothers?” (Click here to read more about it, including the LDS spin).

Now this is a great question, but unfortunately–since Huckabee is now a politician–he caved under pressure and apologized. For what? For daring to ask a serious question about one of Mormonism’s many heretical and blasphemous false doctrines. (Read more about Huckabee’s capitulation by clicking here).

I found it interesting that in both articles linked above, the following quote can be found:

“The authoritative Encyclopedia of Mormonism, published in 1992, does not refer to Jesus and Satan as brothers. It speaks of Jesus as the son of God and of Satan as a fallen angel, which is a Biblical account.”

Well of course! Mormonism constantly changes, shuffles, obscures, and hides their true doctrines, and have been doing so for years. So as a public service to the readers of this blog–and those reporters of these articles that apparently don’t know much about Mormonism–I thought I’d share with you some quotes from Mormonism that may clear up the confusion.

The appointment of Jesus to be the Savior of the world was contested by one of the other sons of God. He was called Lucifer, son of the morning. Haughty, ambitious, and covetous of power and glory, this spirit-filled brother of Jesus desperately tried to become the Savior of Mankind. Milton R. Hunter, The Gospel Through The Ages, 1945 Edition, Page 15.

Two of our brothers offered to help. Our oldest brother, Jesus Christ . . . said, “Here am I send me” . . . Satan, who was called Lucifer, also came, saying, “Behold, here am I, send me . . .” After hearing both sons speak, Heavenly Father said, “I will send the first” (Abraham 3:27). Gospel Principles, 1997 Edition, Pages 17-18.

“Who will redeem the earth, who will go forth and make the sacrifice for the earth and all things it contains?” The eldest son said: “Here am I;” but he did not say “send me.” But the second one, which was “Lucifer, son of the morning,” said, “Lord, here am I, send me, I will redeem every son and daughter of Adam and Eve that lives on the earth, or that ever goes on the earth.” “But,” says the Father, “that will not answer at all. I give each and every individual his agency; all must use that in order to gain exaltation in my kingdom; inasmuch as they have the power of choice they must exercise that power. Brigham Young, Journal of Discourses, Volume 13, Page 282.

Islam vs teddy bear teacher UPDATE.

1, November 30, 2007

Muslims simply aren’t happy with whipping a woman for allowing her students to name a teddy bear Muhammed. Now they want her executed! Read the latest news article here.

So where does the “peace” part come in of this “religion of peace” I keep hearing about?

Original post here

Islam: The religion of “peace” is at it again.

1, November 28, 2007

In this news article with accompanying video, a school teacher is in a Sudanese jail facing 40 lashes for allowing children in her class to name a teddy bear Mohammed.

As I shake my head at the barbaric behavior in which Islam constantly finds itself, I have to wonder if we harnessed just 10% of their fanaticism and applied it to our faith how much Christianity would be different than it is today in the West. I’m not talking about violence, cruelty, and terrorism. I’m talking a reverence for God, not watching movies where His name is blasphemed, not allowing an Elvis impersonator to lead worship, not depicting our Lord as a duck, not preaching sermons on the topic of God Loves Sex, not glorifying Las Vegas and poker in church, not inviting someone who’s opposed to everything our faith holds dear to speak at your church, not mocking the very Word of God with heretical versions of the Bible, not having scantly clad girls dancing on stage at a “Christian” Christmas concert, and the list goes on and on.

Is it any wonder?

1, November 19, 2007

In a world where McDonalds and Victoria’s Secrets promotes immodesty, lust, and promiscuity targeted toward kids; when a Christian music performer uses girls dancing in Santa lingerie during a Christmas concert; when so-called “pastors” teach sermons from the pulpit in a series called God Loves Sex with sermons entitled: 1). Seven Minutes in Heaven [**Sex Party**], 2).Stripped Bare, 3). Leather, Whips, and Whipped Cream, 4). What Happens in Vegas Doesn’t Stay in Vegas; and where a steady dose of sex is pumped into music, television, and movies geared toward children, is it any wonder what’s going on when you read the news of 8 and 9 year old boys charged with the rape of an eleven year old girl?

Why I comment on happenings in the Church but rarely on happenings in the world.

1, November 17, 2007

Readers of this blog know that I rarely ever comment on the acts performed and the sins committed by those of the world. Many believers rail against such concerns as gay pride parades, the absence of prayer in public schools, violent video games, etc. However, I choose to steer away from that for one simple reason: It’s the same reason that I don’t blog about fleas and mosquitoes biting people . . . because it’s their nature! In the same way, what’s the point of blogging about and lamenting over what sin the world has committed today? To commit sin is what the worldly do, it’s in their nature. They are the unregenerate so why blog about fish that swim, birds that fly, or the world that sins?

In contrast, I do blog about issues when the Church acts like the world. I do blog about false doctrine being taught from pulpits, lukewarm lifestyles, heretical doctrines of demons being spread by the cults and professing Christians, and so on. We are to be watchman to warn others of the dangers of the wolves that are surrounding the flock. Sadly too many pastors today who are supposed to be the protecting shepherds are preoccupied with filling seats and being popular than they are with keeping the wolves out and preaching sound doctrine. So now, many believers have taken this role upon themselves and are sounding the alarm to warn others

The Church is supposed to be separate from the world, not conformed to this world, and certainly not to be friends with it. Those who violate this do not have the love of the Father in them and they are enemies of God. Not my words, but Thy words!

The wisdom of the world: When Victoria’s Secrets and McDonalds offer the same product.

1, November 17, 2007

victorias-secrets.jpg As the world continues its downward spiral, it’s only fitting that Victoria’s Secrets now offers The Pink Line of scantly clad dolls for your young child. As if that’s not enough: Recently a trip to McDonald’s proved shocking when along with my daughter’s Happy Meal, she received this prize:

cimg2442.jpg

Does marketing this smut to young girls help or hurt society as a whole? Does saying to a young girl that lust, sex, perversion, and complete lack of modesty is a model behavior to attain to, make this world a better place or not? I know from a Christian perspective that marketing dolls that are dressed like prostitutes to children is not acceptable, but what do you, the non-Christian say? Where do you draw the line?

What about you Christians out there who think I’m just an old fuddy duddy? Would you allow your daughter to play with dolls that are dressed this provocatively and seductively?

It wasn’t that long ago that if a woman dressed in public in the same way that these dolls are, she would have been jailed.

And our parents thought Barbie was bad.

Press conference video of Rudy Giuliani endorsement: Thank you for your example Pat Robertson.

1, November 12, 2007

Sorry Mr. Robertson, but after all the years of building your CBN empire on Christian morals and fighting against the social ills that Rudy Giuliani stands for, you in one fell swoop unraveled all those years of work.

You have also shown that not not only was all your railing against homosexuality and abortion conditional, (and political), but that actions truly do speak louder than words.

Thank you Mr. Robertson for your compromise. You’ve set an incredible example. When our evangelical “leaders” are so quick to compromise do we still have to wonder why the current state of the church is in shambles?

See what Pat Robertson is endorsing here.

Pat Robertson endorses Rudy Giuliani for president.

1, November 7, 2007

By no means does this blog have any intentions of getting involved in politics with the exception of when politics and religion become so intertwined in some cases, that I feel a certain event needs to be addressed. This is such a case.

Pat Robertson of 700 Club fame has officially endorsed Rudy Giuliani for president. Click here to read Robertson’s endorsement and click here to read the news article.

I have two questions: First, why in the world are Christians getting involved with this kind of stuff? Second, why is Robertson endorsing Giuliani?

Let’s take a quick look at the man Pat Robertson is endorsing as president of the United States of America:

Kathy Griffin with a few words on Jesus after accepting her award.

1, September 27, 2007

Here’s the video of Kathy Griffin accepting her award. I honestly don’t see why the Christian community is so up in arms over this whole thing. Ms. Griffin is of the world and so she is behaving accordingly. The Christian community should be more up in arms by those who claim Jesus is their Lord but act as anything but. The Christian community should be more outraged by the state of the lukewarm Church. The Christian community should be more concerned with the false doctrines being taught by so many of today’s popular pastors. There will be more people finding themselves in Hell because of the lukewarm church, the false doctrines of popular pastors, and the poor example of Professing Christians than by anything Ms. Griffin can ever say or do.

The world’s most expensive desert.

1, September 25, 2007

Jesus said that it was hard for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of Heaven, (Matthew 19:23-24). So much so that it would be easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter heaven. Well this story is a prime example of why.

This desert costs $14,500. To those who waste money on this, I hope you enjoy your life on earth, because you are receiving your goods now and as the rich man in Jesus’ story in Luke 16:19-31, you will one day have only one desire: To have those who you ignored who were in need around you on earth, to dip their finger in water to cool off your tongue.

Hollywood: Kathy Griffin’s remarks about Jesus.

1, September 12, 2007

Yet another example of Hollywood’s view of their Creator. Kathy Griffin’s remarks were censored after her receipt of an award. They may have been censored from television but unless she repents, her words will still come back to haunt her on Judgment Day. Click here to read the story.

Everyone of us will give an account for every careless (and premeditated) word we speak. I pity her when she stands before the very God who she belittles.

The deeper problem with Kathy Griffin is not her comment, but her heart. This presents an opportunity for me to ask the same of you.  Where’s your heart today? Do you still pay to watch the movies these people make? Do you still sit in front of your TV wasting countless hours of your short life watching the trash these people pump into your living rooms? Selah.
